San Diego's home resale inventory is increasing very slightly (up about 1%).  Overall, though, inventory is very low.  The inventory would "last" about 1.5 months, and in a very healthy market, there is around 6 months of available inventory.  The median listing price is staying steady currently.  The median home price in June was the highest that it's been since 2007.  The number of sales in the last couple of months has been very high.  Sellers are doing very well by listing their homes in this market.  For buyers, mortgage rates remain low.  There is continuing speculation that the Federal Reserve will begin to raise interest rates, but that remains to be seen.

Hi everyone!  If you live anywhere near Westfield UTC (or visit it occasionally), you've probably realized there are some big changes brewing.  Until a few years ago, UTC mall was not spectacular.  The stores were OK, the gym was OK, and there was no movie theater.  It was busy during the holiday season and relatively empty otherwise.  

A few years back, the first phase of the renovation was implemented (fall 2012).  The whole mall got a facelift, priced around $180M.  24 hour fitness expanded, new stores were added and unpopular stores left, and many new restaurants opened.  An ArcLight movie theater opened, which was a welcome addition.  There was a movie theater at UTC many years ago (as well as an arcade-let's reminisce about the 90s for a
