San Diego's home resale inventory is increasing very slightly (up about 1%). Overall, though, inventory is very low. The inventory would "last" about 1.5 months, and in a very healthy market, there is around 6 months of available inventory. The median listing price is staying steady currently. The median home price in June was the highest that it's been since 2007. The number of sales in the last couple of months has been very high. Sellers are doing very well by listing their homes in this market. For buyers, mortgage rates remain low. There is continuing speculation that the Federal Reserve will begin to raise interest rates, but that remains to be seen.

The stores were OK, the gym was OK, and there was no movie theater. It was busy during the holiday season and relatively empty otherwise.
