Fall began last week, and what's fall without a great Oktoberfest!? Luckily for sun-worshippers like me, in San Diego, it feels like summer through late October or early November. However, things like seasonal beer, pumpkins, crisp apples, and changing trees help me welcome autumn. With numerous great Oktoberfests throughout San Diego county, it's easy to pick one to visit to get in the fall mood!
Oktoberfest in El Cajon
Dates: Friday-Sunday, last weekend of September and first weekend of October
Traditionally held on the first two weekends in October, dance to various Bavarian bands at the two-weekend Oktoberfest event, located in El Cajon.
San Diego has shifted towards a "neutral" market, meaning buyers and sellers are more equally favored, compared to the seller's market we have recently been in. San Diego home values have gone up 5.1% over the last year, and they are predicted to rise about 1.8% within the next year. The San Diego market is considered "very healthy" currently. We are reaching the tail end of the busy summer real estate season. In this market, buyers and sellers can both do quite well, so if you are thinking about making a move in real estate, now is a great time.
